Allan Gordon is a neurologist and Director of the Wasser Pain Management Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital which deals with chronic non-malignant pain and emphasizes the rational use of pharmacotherapy as well as physical, psychological and complementary and alternative treatments for chronic pain. Gordon is also Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and has a close association with the Canadian Association for the Weizmann Institute of Science where he has served in various positions.

Gordon’s clinical and research interests include migraine and craniofacial neuralgias, chronic pelvic region pain and chronic non-malignant pain. He is an established investigator in the area of pain therapeutics (he has served as site-PI for a number of multi-centre trials in chronic non-cancer pain), and has extensive experience in the area of pain diagnosis and management.
